The boy wigged out on me. Again. He usually does this about once a month. I can be pretty understanding about this because women wig out once a month, anyway. But this is getting ridiculous.

He was going on about how he was living a lie, and how what we were doing was wrong. That may be, but he's so unhappy at home that it breaks my heart.

So, I did something that I never thought I would do. Something I've never done before. I called him on it. Normally I'm too reserved to do such a thing, but I decided that someone might as well say it.

"You're unhappy at home. Everyone who knows you knows it. This isn't wrong."

I called his bluff, telling him that maybe it wasn't ME who was getting overly attached to him; that maybe it was HE was getting overly attached to ME, and now he was looking for an easy way out.

He said that "even if that were the case" (bingo!) that he would still have the urge to break things off.

"I know it's the case; I know it because you're so unhappy with your wife and that's why you're so happy with me."

I persisted and he let me know that it was the case, but he feels like he can't do anything about it. I don't think I'm always right, but I knew I was right about this one.

This is getting interesting. I don't know whether I should persist in calling his bluff, or if I should back down entirely and see what happens. I'm afraid that whatever I do it will be the wrong decision. frown frown frown

Off topic, this was amusing to me:
