So how is everyone tonight? ...Me? I'm pretty damn good ^.^ So I don't have a lot to add sadly, but I do have one or two fun things to share...
My weekend was pretty kick ass, Thursday night I went to the club with a bunch of friends, which was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. We actually plan on going again next thursday, but this time we're going somewhere different (somewhere less sketchy!).
some of us at Denny's later that night
The highlight of the weekend was hands down the Shiny Toy Guns concert down in Hartford, ct.! It was awesome... god I love them ^.^ I had a few pictures from that night but I haven't got a chance to upload them yet... either way, if you don't know who they are, look them up, you will not be disappointed! *sigh* that was SUCH a fun night... too bad ken almost killed us on the way there when he got the bright idea to swerve across 4 lanes of traffic on the highway to get the exit but despite his best efforts (or worse driving ) we survived the trip.
Other than that it's been the usual hanging out with friends and working way too much. I did however start reading a new book called Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. It's really weird, sort of an Alice in Wonderland meets London in a nightmare... like I said, it's unique. But I like it so far, not the best ever, but it's definitely good.
On a side note, my skin is finally clearing up! I went to the dermatologist and he said that it was just an allergic reaction to something that I've been eating... probably a new allergy since my diet hadn't changed at all. Throw in a couple of other little conditions and it just got bad. But either way, I've identified said allergy (shellfish... go figure I'm greek... I'm going to keep eating it, just space it out a lot more and take medication ... but I'll deal) and things are going much smoother. Now the marks just have to heal... *sigh* at least it was only on my legs.
Well, now that my internet is done playing stupid for the time being, there's a new episode of Deathnote that I've been neglecting! I hope everyone has a great week! And I hope your birthday went well Kevin!
Some randomness that made me smile:
my friend Trine had this sitting in her backseat the night we went to the club!
