I just finished watching Thelma & Louise for the billionth time. I always cry at the end. Its that damn slow guitar solo, i swear. I just bought the DVD so i checked out the alternate ending. They still drive off the cliff, but its to a more upbeat song so you actually end up being happy for them instead of "Men are evil, fuck the law, they didnt do anything wrong" feeling. You also see more of the car falling into the canyon, which is kinda morbid, but poignant nonetheless. I still prefer the sad ending. Knowing that im able to cry and that im not an emotionless robot makes me feel better.
Holla.
