And now for something completely different....
So things are still going great for me now that I'm active again. Think that was really the biggest change I've made for the better recently was just getting out and doing things. Of course my kitties aren't too happy with it as they are now attention starved, but I spoil them anyways so blah.
Work week sucked, got "mentored" by the SQ/CC on stuff that I couldn't control and didn't know about. Whatever, just reaffirmed why it is I'm going to crosstrain into something else. Air Force medics can be so dumb sometimes.
Weekend though has rocked so far. The ladies won their rugby match 32-0 over UNC-G. They dominated the pitch and used what I had taught them during the week. I was so proud.
It was also interesting to suddenly be the incentive for the team to do well as we made a bet that if they scored 36 more than the opposition we, the coaches would do a dance for them after the game. Thankfully we were spared the embarrassment. All in all it was a reminder of how and why i love this sport so much, ruck over!
The evening was spent in Raleigh at the SGNC sushi meet... good food and the best company in the world, what more could you want. Many thanks to kriss and not_tom for letting me spend the night and the awesome hospitality
Now it's back to work for the day with a performance report and homework to complete, bleh. At least I still get tomorrow off though
