Time for another desert installment. Things here are getting a lot simpler as I made my way over to the International Zone this past week for some meetings and have been enjoying the crazy amenities they have here. State Department knows what the heck is going on and boy did Saddam have some nice gigs here. Palaces galore and pools all over the freakin place. Got to go into quite a few of them and even lay out by the pool to try and rid myself of some of the farmer's tan that has set in on me. Was quite refreshing and enjoyable to say the least.
Probably the strangest part of it all was landing at the airport and walking off the plane. Everything here is still qute the same as it was 3 years ago except the blown up planes and buildings have been removed and repaired some. Was quite eerie looking at the base that I build from the ground up and seeing it as a full blown operation. Gave me a sense of pride though knowing that my design worked so well that they haven't needed to change it at all. Still have a few places to go check out and confirm that not too much has changed but still it is neat to see things I remember.
In other news... I'm looking at getting out of active duty once I return and either go to work for one of the three letters or just go back to grad school. However, if anyone has an awesome job they would be willing to hire me for, I would consider that too. You know simple things, R&D engineer, project manager, male escort... whatever pays well and could keep me entertained for quite a while. Resumes and referrences can be provided on request :-D
Also, I'm diggin the new format of the place... very swang, but a little heavy on the pink. Although we all like pink don't we Now just to get back to the good ol' USA and the land of plentiful pink, lol.
C'es la vie.

I will be in G-Vegas this weekend. My hometown is pretty close to it. Hope you will get to see Greenville up close and personal real soon!
