i wrote my first-ever recipe the other day!! it still needs some fine-tuning (more apple, more molasses) but rin's sweet apple muffins are soooo good!! it was really hot while i was baking, so i did it in my bathing suit. i got flour all over my tummy, cause i'm like that. come to think of it, why on earth wasn't i wearing my apron? oh well, neither here nor there...

last night i saw the film a scanner darkly. keanu reeves sucks. the movie was not good. i am willing to bet that the book was a lot better than the movie.
yesterday i went shopping and i got a gift for my cousin's wedding (which the lovely lavonne is accompanying me to this weekend)! i also got a dress for the wedding. it is white with black polka dots and a halter neck and a black ribbon belt. it's knee length with crinoline underneath so it is pretty and poufy. the downside is that my dad will give me shit about the tattoos of mine he hasn't seen yet, but i realised i may as well get the lecture over with, as i will have them for the rest of my life so he can just cope with it.
i am not having a good time living with my roommates. oh well, such is life. in a few months i will be with the delicious malloreigh and nikala. our house will be THE HOUSE OF HOT!!
also: smoriva42 is coming to visit me! he will be here tomorrow evening and i guess he will be kicking around for a while. i can't let him hang out for too long, as the hippies are...well, hippies. but he should be in the city for a fair bit of time and i'm quite excited to hang out with him.
that said, i should go nap/read/make some sweet apple muffins. ftw!!!
to everyone who asked me for postcards: i think i lost them. i spent an afternoon at s_eldorado's pad filling them out but i think i might have left them there. i'm sorry! i don't mean to be such a slacker. it just...happens. i will ask around and if they are truly lost, i will send ones from calgary. it's not as nice...but i can't be all talk forever
