But...
I will survive. I know this much. It's just not going to be very pleasant living for a while.
In other news, I finished my encyclopedic entry assignment starring Ms. Frida Kahlo, herself! So, here it is ♥
Matilde Travert, 1917-1940
*Known through a brief, alleged affair with Mexican surrealist painter, Frida Kahlo during Kahlo's 1940 visit to Paris, France. Matilde appears to have been the housekeeper/cook during Kahlo's visit and at some point developed a more intimate relationship (although the exact details of this relationship are unknown). A photograph was taken of Matilde during Kahlo's stay, in which one can see Matilde wearing a Mexican folk-art inspired charm bracelet (the charms appear to be various bones and hearts). Kahlo is also rumored to have been engaging in an affair with the well-known songstress Josephine Baker, which could have been the cause for a violent and heated encounter which led to Matilde's removal from the household. In late March, just weeks before Kahlo returned to Mexico, she reported an act of vandalism: a painting depicting a no longer identifiable woman had been shredded and defaced. The only notable feature of the painting was a charm bracelet worn on the right hand of the faceless woman: it was adorned with bones and winged-hearts. Shortly after Kahlo returned to Mexico in mid-April, Matilde was featured in a short obituary in a local Parisian newspaper. Matilde Travert had committed suicide.
Sorry about your love life though. You will find someone soon. If not, give me a call
