Needless to say, I'm not getting my college fund money that him and my grandparents have been saving for me ever since I was little. I'm going to be struggling like crazy for the next year to make ends meet, but there's something comforting about the fact that I don't have to pretend to have a relationship with my father. Now that it's all out in the open, I can accept the fact that the love he claimed to have for me was not unconditional. Quite the opposite, in fact. I could basically hear him screaming, "If you'd only obeyed me, I could at least pretend to love you." When I asked him to define my "deviant lifestyle," he said, "You have tattoos."
Wow. Once again,
But yeah, that is very un-Christian like and just plain ignorant for your Dad to shun you like that. I guess he forgot to read that part of the bible where Jesus said "He who is without sin, throw the first stone".
