So today in the grocery store a little black kid walked by me with his mom, and he looked up with his big white grin with one tooth missing and exclaimed,
"Your hair is spikey!"
His mother chuckled and I smiled at him as he walked away staring back at me.
I love children's reactions to things. They are so honest and unrestrained.
I also got a compliment from a 50something year old lady. maybe I reallyl should take the time to wear my hawk up more.

Yes, I love Atreyu. I take them for what they are...at no point are they ever going to be a monumental band but I like what they do. Those lyrics that I put up on my latest journal are likely to turn into a tattoo that I'm designing right now.
