Hello, we were so there @ Gwen Stafani's concert Wed June 27th!!!
(My response to message below)
We had dinner @ Arigato in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara, then rode our bikes to the bowl. How cool is that, I mean what other major US city can you eat 5-star sushi & pedal your sled to a major international superstar's concert?! (And by the way look at a nearly full moon over the Pacific Ocean, while the sun sets & the giant gold "G" descends onstage. Purely magical & really why the hell we live in SB yo!). Stacie belongs to the Gwen fan club & her tix said it started @ 7:30. We interpreted that as meaning Lady Sovereign was starting at that time. We arrived in the beer line @ 8:00pm & Gwen started her first song! AHHHG! We only missed about 1/2 of the song as we ran (with beers of course) to our GA lower level seats. I love the lower level @ The SB Bowl. You can cruise around everywhere, get close, hang back, go extreme left/right. 2 years ago Stacie & I parked ourselves literally right under Slash for the entire Velvet Underground concert. For Gwen we went center about 15th row. Gwen is simply amazing! She really had a baby only 1 year ago? And yes, how HOT are the Harajuko Girls?! And the dudes rocked too. Loved the light show, the giant safe that doubled as a costume change trick, & the close up accoustic #'s. Also, how talented was the female bass player?! What chops & an absolutely gorgeous voice. We just had a blast. I love the SB Bowl. Wish Avenged Sevenfold, AFI or Linkin Park would visit.
Rock on, see you @ Warped this Sat!
