"Never. I'm morally opposed."

"Then she wouldn't be my 100% perfect woman, would she?"

Hey, I says, you threw off my groove.
I'm not a big fan of Joe Vs. The Volcano (in fact, I think every one of the Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan films is pretty horrid), but there are two scenes that work completely for me.
The first scene is in the beginning when Mr. Waturi is talking on the phone. His dialogue always brings a smile to my face. "I know he can get the...

I like the suit idea. Get a suit. Good idea.
Speaking of movie scenes that just work, I'm really itching to see Coffee & Cigarettes. I have a feeling that movie's gonna be full of good scenes. Considering, that that's what it is, a bunch of random coffeeshop scenes all put together. We'll see.

How odd, and I thought I had heard it all. I have never heard of going into a gay heat for about two weeks though. I've heard and seen alot in nola, and Im not cracking or judging, but I think that might be a first for me
I always figured that fuck, I think about sex all the time, so if I liked both girls and boys, I would think about sex with boys AND girls all the time, never have exclusive windows that they had to work in.
Dude, you'd make a great Dread Pirate Roberts. Sure, Carey Elwes was rather grand in the position, but Im sure you could take it to a new level.

Your attraction to same sex is quite similar to my own. I have tame attraction to females most of the time. I have always felt attracted to women, even when I was a small child. Then for some reason unbeknown to me, I have fantasies & dreams about having the most luxurious, languid sexual experiences with them.
It doesn't last long for me either. That's probably why I have only acted on a few of them!

- One of my favorite Lyndon Johnson quotes is: "We fought a war on poverty, and poverty won." It's the quote I think of whenever I hear about the war on drugs, and even more so whenever I hear about the coming war on porn.

"we fought a war on porn, and porn won" actually sounds kind of cool. because it sounds like a bloodless war, and the kind where those who are taken prisoner probably don't mind so much...

good luck finding the actual employment your brain's whispering about... hope you make your way into something you find mostly fun. what kinds of work are you looking into?

I despise dealing with overly emotional people.
Why must one always defer to the weaker party?

Honestly, if ever you have the desire to seduce me, the direct approach is the best way to go. And when it's accompanied with a wry smile? Goodness. What a nice evening.

Thanks for the advice. I think I've got a handle on it now. There were some outside issues which were muddying the waters.
But as to why I like so-called "psychically damaged" women, that I believe I can answer. I think subconsciously those are the only women I can attain. Fixer-uppers, as it were.

- It would appear that I'm being pursued for once. Being the seduced is so much easier and more enjoyable than being the seducer. Granted, things would be moving more swiftly and smoothly were I in pursuit, but I'm rather enjoying sitting back and watching it all unfold.

I agree. I rarely get seduced anymore though. It seems that more and more I have been the agressor and moving in on the guys. I need to settle my ass down. LOL.
Oh and what the heck is a music blog? I must be the only one not having discovered it yet.
So now that you are done with your thesis what's next on the agenda? Time off and enjoying the summer or what?

I'm always perplexed when people talk about "not wanting to ruin a friendship by having sex," as that's never happened to me. Ever. To the contrary, every one of friendships where sex was eventually had became stronger, more enjoyable.
On the other hand, I've had two friendships that didn't survive the denial of sex.

I'm very with you on that comment. I randomly sleep with my friends if it comes up (no pun intended). I find it keeps relationships real and sane.

That person is just being a bad friend. Friends have sex with other friends, otherwise your just a greedy bastard.

I thought the exact same thing about Garden State when I first saw the preview. Then I recieved a DVD with the same preview on it, and watched it over and over until I uncovered the storyline.
It's about a guy (the kid from Scrubs) and a girl (that chick from Star Wars) and they do stuff (like stand on top of construction equipment in the rain). Method Man's in it too, but I don't believe he was in the preview (and I wonder why...).
But yeah, I'm looking forward to it as well.
