I have a love/hate relationship to eBay and the Swedish part of eBay called Tradera.com. There are just too many cool stuff on there, this part I love. Must of the stuff I really want is very very expensive, this part I hate!
I collect records and merchandise with my three favorite metal band Opeth, Nasum and Merciless. It's going quite well only Opeth and Merciless are too big so the stuff is to expensive. The "Blackwater Park" vinyl is on eBay every now and then but it always sell for $200. The sad part is that five or six years or so when Opeth hadn't got as big as they are now I found the "Blackwater Park" vinyl in a vinyl shop in "the old town" in Stockholm for normal price, about $25. For some reason I did not buy this. Why!? This bugs me everytime I see that awesome piece of vinyl in ebay.
Now there are a couple of Merciless stuff up on ebay and tradera that I'm looking to buy. I guess it's gonna cost about $100 in total, do I really have the money!? Probably not, but I want the records!!
Now I'm gonna show of a little and tell you about my collections.
Well, the Nasum one is really the only to really brag about but here goes:
Nasum, I have 41 cds, records and tapes and nine shirts, including one that only exist in 6(!) copies!
I also collect records with Nasum related bands, in total that is 114 records, cds and tapes.
I still only have seven Merciless records.
But as I said I'm looking to get a few more in the next few days so I'll soon be happier (I'm a material boy, oh yes!).
I've got 17 Opeth records and cds, there's a lot of stuff missing in this collection. I'll get to it when I win the lottery!
What is it that keeps you revisiting eBay several times a day?
Do you have an impressive collection of some sort?
That's it for now, soon it is The Beach on ITV1.

though I generally am happy just to have one copy of each album unless I see the LP going scarily cheap. That's really impressive with Nasum though. Did you ever get to see them live?
