after 13 years i got to see Jane's Addiction
it was a great gig, brilliant playing, good energy and Perry's a great frontman.
plus i got to shake his hand
but it should've been longer
they only did 11 songs, barely an hour of playing, so i'm a bit disapointed about that
they've so many great songs they could've done
i think it had something to do with it being a radio1 sponsored show and the programme was only 45mins
so, mix that up with contracts, insurance from the venue, money and a good deal of red tape and that might be why they only did a short set
wicked venue though, about 2000, half the size of Brixton Academy, so really intimate
another bummer was that they had security problems the day before so i didn't get to go backstage (my mate works there) but i didn't miss out on the soundcheck as they didn't even do one
