greetings and salutations

the gig went well on wed. we had about 150 people there
i think
i'm a bit bummed out though cause i started loosing my voice after the 3rd song
you know when you've been shouting in someones ear all night at a club and you can't talk when you get home,
like that
i gotta remember to not jam the day before a gig
and i think the smoke in a club has a lot to do with it
seeing as i quit about 3 years ago
you can really feel it on the back of your throat after just a few mins
plus talking to people whilst listening to the first band all takes its toll
i just don't wanna have to hide away not talking and sipping herbal tea until i go onstage
oh well
we had a good laugh though , the sound was pretty good and the crowd were nice
i just screached my head off for an hour

anyways, it'll be the last gig for a couple of months
'cause i gotta get ready for 6fingers jnr.
who's due from the first week in sept til the 17th

so i think i'll be doing some writing with my wife
( as she writes 90% of the lyrics )
