hey folks

a bit of an overdue update

i've decided to just not talk about drummers from now on

was meant to be in the studio recording on Saturday but it got put back 3 weeks
really looking forward to it
13 tunes to do
and then have to sort out a site to host them all on
and get a PayPal thingy going to try and flog it
it can be my own little cottage industry

gonna be jamming with another new drummer in the next few weeks, he's very good and very experienced and a regular at the studio
ooops - that didn't last long did it
he's done loads of session work, anyway, if he works out, i can show you all of the cool stuff he's doing / done

gonna be zooming up to see Frankie a week tomorrow !!!
more work on my sleeve - excited ? moi ?

i've got a booking in May too

do you find when you write your journal, you actually cheer up ?
i just had to go and delete a bit at the begining about how bored i was
but now after writing this lot, i'm quite chipper

my Dad's bought himself a new Mini
well ... an new old Mini



this isn't his one - i'll post a pic when i get one of me behind the wheel

it's a mark1 Austin Mini Cooper S, i think '66 or '68
it's sooooooo cool
and fucking fast

to give you an idea, my new Renault Megan 1.6 is about 90 - 105 bhp
this Mini is half the weight of the Renault and it'll kick out 128 bhp

i cannot wait to drive it !
