Hello lovers.
House viewing didn't quite go to plan. I was really gutted about it because I fell in love with the house we were going to see, but I got a call yesterday morning from the estate agents, telling me that an application had been made at the weekend. It's frustrating because of the nature of our jobs it's not easy to get time off to go and view places. Better luck next time I guess.
I've got a list of a few places for next time, and that wasn't easy as finding a reasonably priced 2 bed house/apartment in Uttoxeter is rare.
I'm looking at nearby colleges too as I want to get myself on an Art & Design foundation course so I can go on to study Contour Fashion at DMU in Leicester.
I've started a few projects, including an inspiration scrapbook, and a sewing project of which I'm hoping will turn out to be a sexy pair of bloomer-esque knickers. I haven't sewed properly for years, so we'll see how it turns out.
I bought a pink wig to try just because;
Although it hasn't arrived yet so no pictures of me modelling it.
I also bought a Fashionary!
So excited about this. I can't draw figures to save my life so this should be handy.
Also a copy of Ellen Von Unwerth's Frulein.
The edition that isn't 650.....
I love Ellen's work so much. I invested in a copy of Revenge last month which is usually ridiculously expensive (worth it though), I think I got a great deal at 180 and it's in pristine condition. It lives in bubble wrap on my shelf.

nevernamed:
180 for a book? Holy moly! That's steep, but I guess if it's what you love then it's worth it. The most expensive book I ever bought was a massive book on music history for 60, and I thought that was a shocking amount of money at the time. I guess I knew nothing!
