So, the news here today was that a family was massacred at their home, the husband, the wife, his mother in law and his two kids where kidnapped , one was shot on the street the other was strangled and throw off a bridge as they ran out of bullets. The kid (13) survived and on of the attackers was apprehended. So, this guy had not paid rent on the apartment he was renting for the victim and got evicted, so he killed the landlord and his whole family. As you hear/ or read the news people are saying like, there has got to be more than that? And then, really? You need reasons to murder a whole family? This guy was just a bad egg, and probably got pushed, but to kill a whole family? Have we as a society lost all sense of morals? It can get one to think what would make anyone snap. That’s why I hate the news and newspapers, they get all the negative up front but all the good/positive news get a backseat to scandals , political crap & sensationalism.
I know I’ve been close to the edge, dancing with depression for a few months, but I never feel beaten, never lose complete hope. Lately I have been very selective with the company I keep or the social situations I go to. I rarely even go out anymore. I’m just feeling tired of trying to fit in or explaining myself to other people. In 2 days I leave to Chicago for Vacation, I had much different plans, but it did not go the way I wanted but still, I need to get away from everything and relax have fun and reenergize myself. I know once I get back I will make a better plan and re-organize/prioritize my life. I have a feeling that big decisions are coming in 2015.
Hope everyone’s doing great,
Ricardo
