Hospital Incident.
So, last Saturday night I started feeling some pain in my right abdomen. I thought I was tired so I went to bed. Sunday I kept feeling the pain so I talked to a doctor who told me to take a few zantac, and if the pain continue to go to a doctor. On Monday I went to work, I got an appointment with a gastrointestinologist , after checking me he told me I needed to go to the emergency room. He took me there and told me they’ll be checking me soon. I got there at 4pm, at 8:15pm they called me inside and took blood samples and did a CT scan. They left me with an IV bag in a small room with 5 other people. At 1:30am a nurse took me to a gurney I asked her what was going on, and she told me that I was going to be there for a while. Ok, but why? What do I have? A half hour later the doctor came by and told me I had appendicitis. I spent the night on the ER ward (which is a horror story for another day). The next day, no one came by, no one told me anything, until I started getting cranky and telling people off, so, they told me that they were trying t get a hold of the surgeon and had no room available, and that they had done all the could at the moment. So around 10am the gastrointestinologist came by, so my chart and went to the doctor on turn and chewed his ass of, that I should be on antibiotics to prevent my apendix from bursting. At 4pm the surgeon came by, and told me that no one told him anything, but to relax, I would be getting my operation tomorrow. Around 8pm they finally took me to a room , which had blood stains on the sheets, and there was mold on the ceiling. The orderly came to pick me up at 9am and told me everything was ready for surgery, but there was no gurney available so he would take me on a wheelchair, So there I am with a paper shirt my ball dangling with a sheet over me to keep my dignity. When I get there there was no operating room ready so I had to wait on the wheel chair until 12pm. After surgery, the doctor told me that it was a lot worst than it looked and that my appendix could have burst. That it had began inflammation weeks ago. The gastrointestinologist told me he filed a report with the medical director for the negligence they took on my case. After the operation the first night I asked the nurse for some pain killers and they ignored me the whole night. On Thursday at 2pm the doctor came by and told me they were going to discharge me. 15 minutes later he told me they couldn’t because there was a mix up with my blood test. 2 hours later he came back again and told me that yes I would be discharge today. So that’s how I Spent my last week.
