Hello beautiful people.
This week's blog post is about USELESS FACTS. Useless facts are amazing - you can impress people with your ability to recall bits of random trivia at will.*
I love me some useless facts such as:
The Volkswagen Beetle parked on the street in The Beatles Abbey Road album cover wasn't supposed to be there. Somebody just parked it there and it ended up in the photo.
Another Abbey Road Useless Fact: Paul McCartney has a cigarette between his fingers and in subsequent reissues of the album for the US market, the cigarette is airbrushed out. It was believed it would encourage smoking.
In the US, the first Harry Potter novel is titled The Sorcerer's Stone. Outside the US, it's titled The Philosopher's Stone.
Vin Diesel reportedly earned $54 million for saying "I am Groot" in the Guardians of the Galaxy and last two Avengers films.
Cats have five toes on each front paw. But only four on each rear paw.
ZZ Top drummer Frank Beard is the only band member to not have a beard.
An ostrich's eye is larger than its brain.
Wombats produce cube-shaped poo. I swear I am not making this up.
And finally, for my fellow Star Wars fans, a parsec is a unit of distance, not time.
Until next week.
