Something that works for me is to watch a love story that breaks my heart to pieces. It allows me to cry even more when I'm depressed. Gets that shit out!!! Movies like, Immortal Beloved, Love Actually, Sense and Sensibility, and my all time favorite that tears me up is The English Patient.
It's no fun losing something so precious, so loving, so memorable...... like love.
I got to spend part of the afternoon with J to distract me and honestly have gotten pretty good at releasing the grief quickly rather than holding on to it. Thanks for being there. Or um, here. You know what I mean.
