Tuesday, I leave for Seattle. Yay! Economy is better out there, and people are more upbeat too. That ought to help my holiday spirt....... 
My kids are all home from their various schools now. There are clothes everywhere!!!

Have fun in Seattle. It's pretty cold here in the Northwest and WET! That was always the amazing thing to me when I'd travel to Minneapolis during the winter. It could be 17 degrees and sunny outside and I wouldn't really be all that cold. But fly home to Portland where it would be 40 degrees, rainy and gray skies and it is just BONE chilling cold. Dress warm, my dear, and enjoy your trip. Remember, Seattle-ites may be more upbeat, but they can't drive in weather for shit! Patience, patience, patience.
