Yep - I'm here
Tomorrow, we leave for Oregon. 6 hour drive to the most beautiful place I know of in the United States! Sisters, Oregon is surrounded by mountains - There's the 3 Sisters, Black Crater, Mt Washington, 3 finger Jack, Mt Jefferson - all in a panoramic 180 degree view.....And on the other side, there's Black Butte. Truly God's country -
We go biking, hiking, running and riding - and of course - eating!! Good thing we get plenty of exercise .
When I get back to Seattle, I am getting together with some of my old high school ( yes, I said high school ) friends. This is a fun time because high school was over 30 years ago!! ( I went to a small, private school in the Seattle area, along with Bill Gates, but that's another story........ )
I'm also going to meet an SG friend from Seattle - as I'm sure I mentioned in a previous post -
Yesterday, I ran 5 miles - Yes, I am feeling good!
Hope you are having fun, or something similar to it -

Good discipline, its easy to go on vacation and forget the running. And ... you have real hills there! Makes it that much more fun doesn't it. As an 80 year old marathoner once told me, "hills are just speed without the wind".

Looking forward to hearing how your trip is going!
