A looong time I don't write any blog homework.
This time, I came to share about something I do and I would like to do more
The sgh blog homework for thsi week is:
"Tell us about a time that you helped out someone in need, or a time when someone helped you when you were in need."
I like to help people , but I like more than that , to help animals Yes.
Ok, I know that "animals are just animals" and there is many ONGs to do that, but the reality is the reality is harder than we think, for peaople and animals who doesn't anyone to take care of them. There are a lot of animals on the streets in the world.
One day , on a very cold morning, those that I like , I was going to take the train to get to work on the other side of town. In front of the train's station entrance , there had a dog , that besides dirty, was passed out on the floor and you'r leg fully open. People passed by him as if he were not there . Some looked , thought a bit, but followed their path. I do not judge them. They have their life, their obligations , and as much as some had wanted to help, this could result in a delay in your job, or even he , or even debts that can not pay .
When passing near him, I decided I could not leave him there, in the cold and in that state. I tried to catch him but I could not, then a girl came to help me. I wrapped the dog in my blouse, he woke up startled, but accepted that I caught him in her lap. I took him down and tried to get a taxi, but none of them stopped. An employee told me that little was there from 6 o'clock in the morning, and even calling the Zoonotic Center, no one had yet sought and could not do anything. I had the idea to call my boyfriend (were 6 am) and wake him up, tell the story and ask for help. He answered me, I explained and he came for me, for us to take the dog to the veterinarian. When we put it in the car, he got scared and ran (with only 3 legs working well). Yet he ran a lot! I spent the whole morning trying to pick it up, took a few bites, I ran into the bushes, but could not. Unfortunately I do not know to this day what happened to him. I looked for him but did not find more.
I decided to write about this attempt did not work out, because after getting really upset about not being able to help it, I realized that the intention was worth it. It was not the first dog, and will not be the last.
My family and I have already found homes for some of them already realized donations, fed others, and now in winter I intend to donate warm clothing to homeless people.
