Arms, The Man, The Future and some well earned R+R
The show came down on Sunday night in front of a sold-out Camden People's Theatre. The first thing to say is a big THANK YOU to everybody to came and supported the show. Without you, the audience, we wouldn't have an ocupation and in this day and age when live theatre is struggling, we need all the help you can bring.
Over the run the show has met with a lot of praise and it has been difficult to say "goodbye" to the cast after working so well together over the course of the past year. Obviously there has been ups and downs but I have made some friends for life.
Last night we all said goodbye to the Academy with a fair well party and a heavy drinking session, it was a fitting end to what has probably been the most rewarding experience of my life.
A belated thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes, it was a good day although I worked for the whole thing, I am starting to do the thing I love so not really a problem.
So The Future? Well I went for an audition for a new play in South Wimbledon but I wasn't what they were looking for, I have also auditioned for the TIE job and have also had a recall and should find out about the job by the end of week, fingers crossed because it would take care of my money woes and allow me some breathing space in my bid for world domination.
In the meantime, Emma and I are off to see 'Guy's and Doll's' in the West End tommorrow before heading out West for a few days rest.
