You're all suckers!
I caught the very last show of "Death and Harry Houdini" this weekend and it was the best live theater I've seen in ages. Years. Ages! It was put on by The House at the Viaduct in Chicago. There was magic, music, a seance, outtakes, free t-shirts, an escape from the water torture cell, misdirection, lyricism, winks and nods abounding. It was written and directed by Nathan Allen.
Their next show is "San Valentino and the Melancholy Kid," written by Nathan Allen and directed by Dennis Watkins, who played Mr. Houdini in this show. It starts January 15th. It is absolutley imperative that you go see it.

I feel like shit right now. This time of year always brings on random acts of illness. Blah.
I enjoy this weather too, just not the colds and flus. But! I do love my scarves and hats and gloves. Ah...cold.
No, haven't heard the new Prince. Must go get it.
