Every once in a great while I manage to remind myself that it matters what you do when no one is looking.
SG has been pretty good to me. I found it almost three years ago when I was looking for internet porn that didn't leave me feeling like a jerk. SG did that for a long time.
I met some pretty rad people--I went bowling with the Chicago crew when a lot more of my friends list was pink instead of gray, and I was so new to the city that just getting to the Rock N' Bowl was an adventure in itself.
I met Ultraloveninja and made some cool comics together. One of these days I'll write that Teddy Roosevelt vs. Abe Lincoln script I've been meaning to do for him.
I've seduced other well-meaning souls into paying four bucks a month into looking at pictures of hot naked girls on the internet (hullo, Delilah!)
But for a good month now, I've had that familiar feeling of being a jerk again when I look at those same naked girls. I'm not a dramatic kind of kid, so I won't rehash all of those old stories--the folks who will read them here either don't care to fight about it, or they don't care whether it's true or not. But the bottom line is, I don't think SG is a very good company to its models or to its members. There have been too many stories from too many girls who have left or been forced to leave. Too many people whose company I enjoyed on this internet island, too many people I respect and believe, who have left the site and said, "You know, I've worked with the people involved at SG, and I do not like them."
I think it matters the company you keep, and I think it matters what you do when no one is looking. Keep it real, kiddos.

Man ... I miss the old bowling nights. There was a fun mix of characters there, kind of rotating in and out.
Ah, well.
