I don't think that sleep anywhere-ness would be as useful there as it is here...I don't know about you but falling asleep on a subway or bus in ..say...NYC doesn't sound like the BEST idea...ya dig?
But here....hmm....they seem pretty passive...so I dunno.

"I could picture it. I have a rotten habit of picturing the bedroom scenes of my friends."
"She grinned and I saw why she made a point of not laughing. With her mouth closed she was a rather pretty girl."
"That was morality: things that made you disgusted afterward."

Isn't there a band called Shakespeare's Sister? And didn't they have a song that was popular? I'm not making this up, am I?

A few days ago a friend told me that if she made movies, the movie she would have liked to have made would be BIG FISH. I just finished THE SUN ALSO RISES, and I think it's the book I would have most like to have written.

I love Hemingway
I think the biggest reason I didn't love Ed Wood is that it's a Tim Burton film and I absolutely hate him (well, except for Mars Attacks....)
Did Welles do a version of Kafka's The Trial or is it a different story?

I think I already did.
You wouldn't know it, but there's a new Eddie Campbell book out there from DC called BATMAN: THE ORDER OF BEASTS. I'd heard that Eddie was working on a Batman story, but I wouldn't have known it was out if bbkaro hadn't asked me if I'd picked it up yet. So, I went out, picked it up, and read it.
It's far, far better than...

It's true. I've been told I smell like baby powder. Which is rather inexplicable, but not a bad way to smell, I guess.
Guys who wear cologne or old spice deoderant smell good though. And I once met a guy who wore girlie lotion because girls always liked how it smelled....that's pretty logical when you think about it. He was a big guy to smell like flowers though.

you're so right about that.
A friend of mine is putting together a zine. If you are a writer, or know a writer, or always dreamed of being a writer, then take heed:

You know there is a group here on SG especially for zine writers.
I haven't seen Eternal Sunshine. I loved Malkovich. I just absolutely hated Adaptation....it was just so dreadfully boring.
I realized tonight that I am missing Citizen Kane in Chicago....this only adds to my pissedoffedness.....

Yep, post away. There's a writers group where you could post it as well.
It's along the top, but seriously: Vote for DebraJean.
She's losing, and she's by far the sexiest Schwartz I know. And she's really, really funny.

I'm inking the 3rd page now. Sry it's taking forever, but I have so many things going on right now, ( all good) I jsutwant each thing to have it's time and come out great. I'm pushing for this to come out nicer, because "Haircut", I felt got rushed, and could have been a million times better than last time. So this onee I want to be 5 star asskickingly good.

I finally saw Fahrenheit 9/11 yesterday. I'd been putting it off because I figured, hey, I'm a pretty informed dude, and I tend to agree with what Michael Moore says even if I don't always like how he says it--the movie won't have anything new to tell me, so I'll take my time.
I saw Control Room first, for example--a documentary about al-Jazeera during the...

Yeah, politics would have crushed Ditka... I think he had a sense of that, which is why he pussied out.
I'm with you on Obama... he's a smart, articulate guy... I think he's got a very good future in politics. Unlike Kerry, you can vote for Barak because you believe *in* him, not just because you hate his opponent.
