So the Katrina Relief Benefit Show was a smashing success! Not to mention a shitload of fizZZzzun! About 151 people showed up and $735 was raised, which surpasses all other benefit shows I have organized (4 others) the money will go to the newly formed common ground clinic and the New Orleans Network read about the story that inspired me to give... In answer to your question, I think I just saw flyers around and the information on First Ave's website. Went in part cuz it was a Hurricane Katrina benefit (and cool that it was presented by Arise!, if memory serves), and just cuz I wanted to go to First Ave on Friday. I really really like all the bands I heard though. Thanks for putting it together!!!
Doubt we've met, I unfortunately keep to myself overly much...

sorry if I didn't reply to some comments. The cut parts in American Psycho aren't anything amazing, just stuff that was edited out to make the whole thing run more quickly. I love having the dvd though. I just watched The Machinist last night and that was crazy. You might like it, Christian Bale was unhealthily skinny. It had a Memento feel to it.
this weekend got drunk yet again and went to my cousins' annnual midsummer fest up at the utne farm where bunch of swedish people and non swedish people erected a phallic pole danced around it in a circle and sang swedish songs and did weird swedish traditions...it was purdy fun...now it's sunday night and i'm bored as hell and too lazy to do laundry...blah....
Ok so you guys deserve a real update. I got myself a new job this week, I am pretty excited about it! It is another canvassing job but I like it way better. Now I am working for Progressive Minnesota, working on a living wage campaign--basically it's a city wide ordinance, through the city council of minneapolis and st. paul, that would require corporations...
