So Friday morning we were on our way, everyone really excited to be meeting up yet again. So a 7 mile trail ride and a 1 mile hike we are there. We set up tents, skip ahead to late Friday evening. A fire blazing and 7 drunken tattooed idiots standing around it. And outta no where a kid named Skunk Daddy Cane and 2 of his buddies stumble into our campsite. We humor them and invite them to stay and hang out for a while, of course with our group it couldnt stay sane for long. Someone brought up the fact that it was Friday the 13th, so my friend Bush decides to tell Skunk Daddy and the boys that we must hack them up with a machete. As he draws the machete in the air the dudes freak and run into the darkness....lol....Now skip ahead three hours.........we see 10 flashlights heading towards our campsite, out of the woods appears several guys in full army gear...we are thinking Skunk Daddy brought back some friends.......turns out they didnt know him and just wanted to hang out. The turned out to be really cool guys (and 1 girl) from Pittsburgh, a few of which were from the band Ragweed. So a few more hours of craziness and we are off to bed. Skip now to Saturday night horrible rainy night, thunder and lighting everywhere. After a few hours of huddling under some tarps and jamming on the guitars we decide to call it a night....ok not over yet!!!!!......I decide to put my guitar in a friends truck so that it doesnt get ruined by the rain. Well he decides he is going home....well he didnt make it very far before the truck caught on fire.....remember we were camping so the truck was full of camping gear and PROPANE TANKS!!!!!.....so to make a long story short we came back without guitars, some camping gear short, and one vehicle less than we went with....but at least today was nice and sunny before we headed out...so there is one more chaotic camping trip to put in the book......of course with all of our luck put together it could never be boring!!
