Hello all you lovely ladies and gents! I’ve been meaning to update more but things keep coming up as they do in life. I have more drawings I’ve been doing of some of the ladies here but I put them on hold for “priority projects”. I’ll get back to them hopefully this week before I get busy again. But I still wanted to share some other stuff I’ve done. Some are just sketches, either from life drawing or photo reference. The others is a famous face I’m sure you’ll recognize.
So here’s the art...
This is a dear friend whom I love and miss. I’ve posted others of her before and I’ll drop some of those in again as well.
now here’s some other works similar in subject but with other models...
Those last few were done from photo reference and sketched first in pencil. After deciding my lines I went back over with ink to make it more pronounced. The next step I do is apply it to the wood panel “cleanly” so I’m not sketching all over the wood. That gives me the clean, modern, minimalistic feel I’m going for.

As for these, I simply referenced the yoga poses because I don’t have a model currently. So if you’re reading this and want to show off your form to both me and the world (because I do hang my art for sale around town) feel free to send me a message and we’ll work out the details. Finding original references without taking them myself is often the biggest obstacle. I can create all day but I can’t sell copyrighted material. Those are just for show sadly.

This is of course Marylin, and instead of transferring her to the canvas like the others, I took my time to draw her out completely before applying paint.
