Some of you may be wondering how you can help with response efforts to Hurricane Sandy. I haven't done any personal vetting on any of these specific efforts, but I have worked with All Hands Volunteers for two years in Haiti (they haven't announced their response yet, waiting to see where they can do the most good), and know people who have worked with and recommend Nechama, the Red Cross and Hands On Network.
