One of my bestest friends ever is down here visiting for the holidays before she is shipped off to Iraq. I've missed seeing her so much. The last time she was in town was three months ago. I know she's a tough chick but I love this girl to death and I really wish she didn't have to go.
Anyway, I thought I was feeling better and attended an amazing show Friday night with Daedelus headlining. I also got to hang with some fucking awesome people including the always beautiful Chipper:
Awwww....cute stuff, huh?
We got hit on by some creepy dude though. Ick. She managed to make a break for it though while I was stuck with this guy. Luckily, I managed to fend him off.
The next day, I woke up feeling like total shit again and had to go to work which sucked because I couldn't get anyone to cover for me but I feared the consequences of just not coming in (i.e. the store not making any money and getting fired from a job I love). I mean, one of my co-worked was willing to work the last 3 hours of my shift but I still would have had to stay there most of the day anyway and I didn't want to do that to him on his day off since he already covered my ass Thurs. and he's an all around cool dude. I'm glad I stuck through it though. Somehow, it feels good to stick some things through no matter how difficult and anyway, I ended up feeling better toward the end of the evening anyway though not 100% better. Afterward, was even treated to dinner by yummy Mr. svenerikkson since I hadn't really had much of an appetite the last 3 days or so.
I will probably post more later since I have more to write but for now, I bid you all goodnight/good morning since I am tired as fuck. Whee...
*EDIT: Ah, fuck it. I can't sleep so I might as well keep going....
Anyway, yesterday was pretty awesome. svenerikkson and I bussed it around town, took pictures (which I will post when he is finished with them), did some shopping, (though more looking around than anything), got some food and went to see Blade Runner not once but twice in the theatre. Never have I been moved to see a movie twice in one day but Blade Runner is definitely a real treat on the big screen. I'll probably end up going to watch it again too sometime soon. More film companies need to start releasing older films on the big screen. Despite all the shitty CG crap added to the most recent theatrical release of the original The Exorcist, it gave me goosebumps just being able to see it on something other than a home entertainment system. It was like a sensory overload and I felt much the same last night.

I think I leave at like, 10:30am on Wednesday but we should definitely plan a sleepover for Tuesday. I can't wait to see your whole arm!
