I need to find a decent profile picture.
I cannot find one that works with the new layout or the new uploader at all, so I live in hope of some emerging this weekend at the SGUK shootfest.
Not so much at the SGUK party because was all know photos of me that emerge from that night are far from likely to be profile picture worthy.
Did I mention to you that I am excited about this weekend? Because it's pretty much what's dragging me through lately.
Not the only thing, but it's a very large part of what is making this month so anticipated in my diary.
Cannot wait to see my girrrrrllllllssss <3
Though, I JUST realised I left my camera with my sister on Saturday night, and won't be getting it back until next week. So I may have to invest in some behind the scenes disposables again, only this time we have to remember to use the flash!
I don't have much more exciting to tell you today. I am currently hiding away in the countryside, at my parents for a few days... And while I'm here, making a start on gutting my old room out. One of the next things that needs to happen in the great house renovation (that has been going on for the last... five years? may I add) is for the wall to come down between my room and the upstairs hallway... so naturally if I don't get a move on it'll be my fault if it goes on longer.
I am finding my teenage self endlessly hilarious, however. It is completely impossible not to get all nostalgic and silly in a room full of all of your old possessions... And we all know how easily distracted I am.
So far I have come across:
- 3 half empty tubes of fake blood (I... have no idea).
- old band shirts. My Chemical Romance, several Blink-182 and a couple of Green Day.
- Matt Willis's autograph (yes, as in the guy from Busted).
- a wad of old gig tickets from trips to the Pitz during 2001-2004, many for questionable bands such as InMe and Violent Delight. And Capdown about 10 times but this does not make me feel ashamed.
- several thousand scented pastel gel pens (the kind girls used to draw all over the homework planners with in 2003).
- a set of tiger stripe hair extensions made by @vivid that I am VERY excited to have re-located.
- far more thigh highs and fishnet stockings than I think I even own now as an adult.
- half of the incense sticks in the whole world.
- beads. SO many beads. Because my life doesn't have enough of those these days either.
- a trumpet.
I have been taking pictures as I go, they may appear in a blog at some point but I suspect that really I am the only one that finds them quite so hilarious.
That My Chemical Romance t-shirt I found though... That one is SO not going to the charity shop.
