Well shit!
I am officially moved into my new digs in Sunset Park... it's big and cheap (like most women i end up taking home), and aside from the constant thump of salsa and reggaeton (the most god awful music I've ever been exposed to), it ain't that bad.
I'm still trying to get my shit together to go back to school this fall (it's getting late!), and I'm still undecided as to what I'll study. I've dabbled with the idea of nursing and have a few years of it behind me... but the further i get reading the fountainhead i feel like that's a mistake. I know it's a good idea because there's job security and good pay, but it's not a passion of mine in any way. I want to help people, because I care... but maybe there's another way to do that. Any advice??

if you're into helping internationally, and don't mind escaping for a good while, give the peace corps a look.
