wow, time flies when you are old!
12 weeks is up again tomorrow.
I haven't got any idea what I will weigh in at tomorrow, I don't have scales. So it will be a bit of a surprise. Not sure how well I will go, I have been eating lollies and chocolate all week cos we have a new manager and she buys lollies, and i felt bad for eating them all so I bought another bag, then ate that, then bought another bag, then ate more of them, I just can't stop... total binge-r. Measurements wise I think I will of done ok...
I have today off, so basically I am only eating fruit and veg and protein shakes and doing exercise all day. Was going to do some cardio stuff like go for a run or bike ride, but it is raining, so its just push ups, sit ups, squats, and dancing around the house. Probably won't make much difference but might work off the bad stuff i have eaten this week!
I mentioned new manager... big changes at work. 2 from underwood (newish manager and my friend jess) got swapped to macgregor and the manager from there and another girl are down at underwood now. The manager that was at underwood has basically kept making bad decisions and underwood isnt really performing as well as they would like, so the macgregor lady has been bought in to fix underwood and get us doing better retail sales practices (ie. would you like fries with that). as much as i hate that shit, I do like the new manager wayyyyyy better. She wants to be accountable for everything, doesnt pass the blame to us, or talk shit about us to the owner of the business. It's been interesting hearing how lowly we have been talked of at head office, but Jackie can see how good we are and how much we do, it's just we didnt have good leadership. It is meant to be for 3 months, but I hope it is longer, I really don't like Seb, and feel I can learn so much more in different areas of the shop with Jackie. so, for the moment, it is really good at work. Hoping it stays like this for a while longer than just 3 months.
Looking forward to tomorrow, weigh in, then the west end markets, then just chillin, before going to the story bridge for a celebration thing. There is apparently finger food so I will be following that around all night hahaha.
Things are looking good. Put an ad on Gumtree to find a room to rent. Our lease runs out in July, Nicole and Rob are moving out together which is awesome for them, so I am just having a look to see what is available. I think I am looking too early as nearly everything is available now, some things in June, so I guess I will have to wait for a month longer to really make more effort in looking. Would be SUPER to find a cheap granny flat or separate part of a house with my own bathroom and kitchen thing. Doubt that would happen as my budget isnt very high but if anyone hears of something available from like Mount Gravatt down to like Underwood for around $150 - $170 (inc. electricity) let me know!
It is a bit daunting, I have only lived with friends before, but I guess it will be a new experience, get me out of my comfort zone maybe
Anyway, enough sitting down, I have exercise to do lol.
