First of all, everyone that has left some love on my latest set Day of the Dead, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I feel like I say this every time but this is my favorite set. It’s been a concept in my head for awhile and I knew only my spooky loving boo @scoli could help me bring it to life. 🖤
Now for the more serious part. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to promote this wonderful set the way I’ve wanted to. In mid September I ended up in the hospital and diagnosed with a very rare gastro-vascular syndrome. One of my main arteries is closing/crushing the first part of my small intestines, making it extremely difficult to eat without getting sick with nausea. They placed me on a continuous feeding tube in an attempt to put enough weight back on me to open my small intestines again. If that doesn’t work then I have surgery performed to place stints in that artery.
It has been a constant 3-4 months of getting testing done, doctor’s appointments, specialist appointments, and a 5 day hospital stay where my specialists started enteral feeding through a nasogastric tube.
I don’t like sharing this side of me because it’s not sexy or glamorous, but it is apart of who I am. And I know the people who care about me are not bothered by all of this. But I felt like it’s time to share.
