so i am almost finished up with physical therapy. i am feeling a major difference in my body strength. my core has gotten a lot stronger, and so has my lower back. my depression still comes in waves, but as long as i am either busy or with company, then i am usually fine. it's the idle time time that kills me, but then again, isn't it always...
next i get to move on to my vocational rehabilitation counselor, who is going to help me get into some career training classes, like for computer office skills, business management, etc, and she said she might also be able to get me a new computer, which would rock. i'm not exactly sure how many classes i'll get to take, or how long it will take, but as long as i'm working with her, then the work comp payments are still in effect, which is great because there are not hardly any real jobs out here right now that are hiring. plus i always enjoy learning new things.
once this is all over with, i should be getting a settlement for the injury from the insurance company. at that time, i'm going to invest in a new high definition video camera with an underwater casing. i plan on filming private hiking tours and making dvds for tourists, among other projects.
yesterday was fun. i spent the day at a friends place in iao valley watching way too much football. they had 4 tvs hooked up to an nfl package via satellite, so we were watching like 8 games at once; it was crazy. we made a shit ton of food and had more than enough beer for once. it was a great time, especially considering i personally don't give 2 shits about football, but being from dallas, i love my cowboys, and they won! everyone out here is from different places, so its fun to watch everyone get excited or pissed off during the games, cause they all have different favorite teams. what's even more fun is the antagonizing, heh. good times.
i'll check back in soon, so until then, be good to each other, and be good at whatever you do...!
aloha.
