thanks to @missy @rambo and @lyxzen for this tread!
I've decided to do this blog because I always feel so embarassed when people ask me what do I want for christmas or for my birthday, and I always answer is not necessary to buy me a present...and I really think so. Well, I know I might seem naive but all the love I receive from my family, my boyfriend, my friends and from all the people who support me is already the best gift I could ever desire. I really like to buy gifts for people I love just to make them smile and feel they are so important to me, and sometimes I also ask them what they would like to receive from me. But I don't feel comfortable at all asking to a specific gift from someone when that gift is for me.
For this reason, it's not so easy for me to write a blog about this, but I've decided to accept the challenge answering to another similar-but-different question: "what would you gift to yourself if you had some money to spare?"
1) DOLLS. As some of you already know, I collect dolls since I was really young, I don't know why but I really love them. A lot.
I've collected many different kinds of dolls (and related toys) such as monster high dolls, disney dolls, vintage barbies, vintage my little ponies, pullips, blythes. Now I'm focused mostly on ball jointed dolls, they are gorgeous, fully poseable, customizable and so fuckin' expensive.
I really love to take pictures bjd's as they are incredibly realistic and photogenic, I have a degree in photography so I've found a hobby-in-the-hobby with this kind of dolls.
To be honest, I already bought a christmas gift from myself to myself, a bjd from Dearmine, her sculpt is named "dorothy". I saw her at a very good price on the secondary market and she was so cute, so I've decided to "adopt" her <3 (picture is from the company)
2) GEEKY STUFF: another big passion I have is to collect retrogames (mostly snes) and nerdy items such as videogame /movie anime themed clothing, figures and so on. And sailor moon stuff. Better if I don't go on ebay anymore, as that "buy it now" button is so tempting LOL
(not my pictures)
3) NEW LENSES FOR MY CAMERA: my favourite one is my Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM but I'm in need of a EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L plus some photography equipment. Need to save a lot of money!
now I'm so curious about your answers, so.. what would you gift to yourself if you had some extra money to spare?

@reptyle If you grew up in the late 80s 90s playing videogames or if you're simply craving for old school games without bothering much about the graphics (leaving it to your creative mind/imagination) then Fallout 1 and 2 are the best RPGs you can find. They indeed suffer from 'heavy' and sometimes repetitive mechanics but nonetheless have a much deeper, profound and well built story, with good characters' back-stories, intrigues, and the inimitable and classic (yet lacking in F4) sarcasm and craziness. I'd suggest starting with the 1st 'cause both stories are linked and you'll enjoy the abundant F1 references in F2 ;)
