Today I picked up my tickets for the Nintendo Fusion Tour/Hawthorne Heights show. Also found out that there will be Wiis on display ready to play! I was afraid that there would just be some sort of presentation and no playable units, but it seems like I was wrong. I actually hope most people come for the music and not for the systems as I don't want it to be too overcrowded and wait in really long lines 'cause that would suck. I'm sure it'll happen to an extent, but hopefully it won't be too insane.
Also picked up Mario 3x3 Hoops for the DS. It's pretty fun. I think it gave me a headache though, like, a real one and not just a figurative one. The multiplayer is fun, but I wish it had online wireless play too. It'd be great to test your abilities against people around the world. I don't see why they couldn't have did it, just use a matchup system similar to Mario Kart DS. Don't think it'd be too hard. However, the buying experience at Gamestop sucked. We went to the one in the mall instead of the usual one and wow, it's really dead in there. This would be the old mall, the one of which has like 4 stores left. I don't even know why it's still open. Anyway, we were checked out by a total idiot. We wanted two copies of the game in question but he charged one of us for both of them after we specifically said we were paying seperately. Then he just looked at us afterwards with a "just fix it yourselves" shrug off without even apologizing. What a choad.
Anyway, in other news we had a semi-sorta famous person come into Ruby's the other week. Evidently there was a guy on the Real World a few years ago (New York season) named Mike "Miz" Mizanin who wanted to become a wrestler. Evidently he got his wish because he showed up with the WWE event that came to town last Sunday. And he came in to eat at our glorious restaraunt. I cooked his food. What a delight!
I'm taking my vacation from work next week. I don't have any plans for a trip or anything but I need the time off to recuperate from the rest of the year, so hopefully it'll do the trick. I could use a break. Sometimes work just gets on your nerves, you know?
