Well I haven't had too much time to write anything for a while, I had a super busy weekend. We played our first gig in about a month and a half on Saturday night, at the Rob Roy with about 10 other bands. We had some new songs and new equipment and I was more nervous than I've ever been before a gig, cause this time I actually had a whole lot of stuff to do, rather than just mixing and the odd sample to trigger. Dave Graney was MCing the night and gave us a great intro, he even played with our vocoder. The gig itself went fairly smoothly, Only one hiccup when I had the drum machine muted and forgot to unmute it. but I sorted that out ok.

Yesterday I had a relaxing day with my girly, we hung out at her place and then went and picked up her friend's dog sparky and took him for a walk at this football match between radio presenters and rock musicians. There were about a million dogs there and sparky was so excited he was drooling everywhere. He was also a bit overawed by the number of balls there and went a bit mental at this dog that was trying to give him a hug. I haven't really hung out with a dog since my old dog died and now I want another one. My house isn't really dog friendly though so I'll just have to be content minding other people's for a while.

Melbourne SG hookup is not looking like it's going to happen, on my part at least, too mucgh to do before friday when we go to Sydney. Hopefully some other time though.
