Update....
The job I thought I was out of the running for called me Wednesday afternoon and set up an appointment for Thursday afternoon, today. It went extremely well I think. With this job, I'll be covering the Southeast and most of the midwest. Pretty much from Chicago down to Texas and then everything east to the Atlantic. Big hubs I would be covering if I get the job are Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Raleigh-Durham, Jax, Philly, DC, and all points in between.
This opportunity is with a great computer hardware company that makes gateways and bridges for data storage. The company started in 1990, had 35 employees by 2000, started 2011 with 95 people, has about 130 now, but expects to be up to 200 by the end of the year, and 300 by the end of 2012. Exciting, because it's still a young company, with a cutting edge product, and is poised to continue to grow
The French Canadians are still coming in next week about the other job which will be better in it's own way too. I'd love to have them bidding against each other for my services.
