Well, strange week so far...
We just laid off 3 people yesterday, 2 in sales and 1 in the warehouse, we're down to 28, from a high of 40 earlier this year. I meet with the owner Tuesday afternoon to go over my numbers. That will be fun. I'm down 30% or so, but others are down as much as 60-70%, of course, 2 of those guys are now gone. Eep. I'm not overly concerned, I'm marketable, and this company is kinda shitty actually. I've been here 5-1/2 years now, and have disliked it almost from day one. It's not a perfect fit for me, but they want to go more in the direction of what I do, which is high tech, high margin product. Like this:

So, anyways, that's that.
Also, I got blatantly hit on by one of the Moms at my daughter's Pre-K. She is a stay-at-home Mom, fairly attractive, (in a plain jane kinda way), late 20's, ultra-religious, and probably so pent up, her vagina is ready to explode. Whenever we have parent type get-togethers it's always me and 10 other Moms, (and maybe a grandma or two). She always always talks to me, and I'm usually goofing off, making everybody laugh acting like a douche. Well, lately, she knows I'm always one of the last ones dropping off my daughter in the morning, usually between 8:50 and 9:00am, (class starts at 8:45). Today, she was still in the parking lot when I got there, I then walked my daughter in, and when I came out a few minutes later she was still there. She rolled her window down and I walked over and she said straight out, "I live close by, do you want to stop in for coffee for a few minutes? I get so bored waiting to pick up Matthew, (her son)." I was kinda shocked and just stammered, "Oh, maybe some other time, but I have to get to work..." She looked embarrassed, and she drove off, and what the fuck am I supposed to do anyways, I'm married, so is she, and our kids are in school together. Damn religitards, don't know how to cheat...
Other weirdness in my life, but no time right now...I'll update later....

I mean maybe it was an innocent invite, it could have been, but it felt like the intent was to fool around, and I got the impression she was feeling me out...

If you have the time, go for coffee. You never know how an acquaintance might come in handy some time. On the other side of the coin, good for you for getting hit on by a soccer mom.
