Was driving home from a wild evening of Scrabble in Kittery last night, and all of a sudden I noticed that the battery light had gone on and my power steering was gone. So I figured I must have blown a power steering belt. But why the battery light? Did I blow the alternator belt too? And if so, how was I able to drive the 50 miles back to Portland without the car dying? Car experts, I summon thee!
