Venice talks to chickens. Her journal reminded me of this story so I told it to her. So I'm sharing it with you all.
I have this friend Ben, who used to live close to a farm when we were little. When we were about ten, he got really mad at his parents and decided to run away into the woods. He packed all his stuff and started walking. Imagine this kinda geeky, awkward, overweight little blonde kid with glasses pawing through the woods with his flashlight at midnight. He got to the farm's sheep pen (which was for some reason out in the woods) but couldn't see it with the little flashlight of his, the batteries of which were now dying. Anyway, he trips on the fence and into the sheep pen and gets all tangled up in the wire. This wakes up the sheep, who immediately start bleating "baaaa! baaaa!". However, being in the woods and in the dark and already startled from being tangled in wire, what my friend hears is weird non-human voices saying "Bennnnnn! Bennnnnnn!". Poor little Ben goes yelping and crying through the woods all the way home and crawls in bed. He never told his parents the story.

Heh, that's a funny story.
I am, in general, a kind of sad person, but I am also in a lot of ways a very happy person. So you should worry too much. I'll find what I'm looking for, once I figure out what it really is. I firmly believe that life gives you what you need when you're ready for it.
