Hung out Friday with ninedayjane and robin and their friends sid and... damn, I'm bad with names. Fun was had by all. Robin makes good fondue. They even drove me home, which was cool because walking 10 miles home in December in Boston sucks. I felt like a big dork though, because I'm not cool, and plus I'm really shy and can never make myself say stuff.
Looking at that picture to the left right now, I realize I hate being clean-cut. I have to get a new job so I can grow my hair out and stop wearing baseball caps.
Saturday I did exactly nothing except play videogames.
Sunday I went rock climbing, called my mother (who keeps calling me thinking I'm dead if she doesn't hear from me every three days, then thinks I'm high when we're talking because she doesn't have my undivided attention) and hung out with some college friends in town for a while. One of them, Anne, who I've had a crush on since freshman year (that's seven years) when she was dating my best friend, recently broke up with her boyfriend. We're gonna hang out next time I go to Maine. She lives in Maine now.
kay, I'm outta stuff to say. Below is a picture of me and Anne from this summer. The comic value of me wearing a tank topis lost on those who don't know me. Also, I'm startled at how much heavier I looked then. That was about 17 lbs. ago. We went with some college friends to the cape for the weekend, and quickly realized we were the only ones there who didn't have significant others with them (she'd left hers in Maine and me, I'm terminally single), so we hung out the whole time. *sigh* I know wanting us to get together is wishful thinking, but sometimes wishes are nice.
