Sometimes there are things I don't like about this site. They're the same things I've been preaching about for a couple years. I'm not all piercings and tattoos and badassness, so people don't take me seriously. Sometimes I feel like the whole world is image. Like none of us have anything beneath the surface. It's days like that I want to curl up and sleep the day away, like I did today.

I'm not taking the change of seasons well this year. I could use a word of comfort.

I feel your pain. I have to stay pretty clean cut for work; damn corporate life. But when I toss on my leather jacket and skull cap I get avoided by all the straight edge people in the world. I generally find comfort in that anyone that judges me for my appearance is a shallow worthless fuck that isn't worthy of my concern.
I can't sleep so I just wander. Either way I think it can help to be alone and reaffirm to yourself that you are happy with who you are.
