Before I get into it - my last blog was about asking a girl out right?
So what happened was she decided "I lost the note" that I left her (seeing as I don't have her number). I tried to to ask her in person but she was too busy. So when I did finally get to see her, I didn't bring it up, she told me about it, we had a nice conversation, and I got the hint after she left me a cup of water to "deal with her other client."
So yes, that failed *shrug*
A week later I decided to try my luck at work. Probably not a great idea, but there was one person that seemed interested. I got the "I'm stuck out in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire" excuse promptly after texting her that I was going to buy the tickets for the movie we had planned to see. Similarly, I took the hint and just decided not to push any further.
I'm just putting small updates on my life here and there so that I have somewhere to put em. Not all of it is bad and depressing. This one guy that came to my register one night though :) lol
So this one night, this bulky meathead like kind of dude come up to my register and asks what we have to eat. "What do you have to eat, I'm just starvin bro, I just need carbs."
I told him well, we have nachos, one hot dog...
"Bro I'll take a hot dog, I'll take two hot dogs."
Sorry friend, I have only one hot dog.
"You only have one hot dog? ... Alright I'll take it. I just needs something in me bro. I just need a lot of food because I'm a big guy you know?"
Yeah... Anyways, do you want anything to drink?
"Yeah I'll take a drink."
*Offers a soda, some nachos, and the hot dog*
"Bro I just need some carbs in me you know, like I'm a big dude bro I just need to eat a lot cause if you see I'm a big dude."
Yeah... I (Is he tired from the gym or something?)
"Yeah bro, I'm just really tired I need something to eat."
Alright
"Thanks bro, you helped me out so much"
(Okay, he's still standing... I don't think he's drunk)
He takes his meal over to the condiments as I try to clean up for the night. A moment later he spills his nachos, an employee tells me about it, I'm getting him some new nachos, and he's calling me over about something that seems to be wrong.
"Bro, look at this... look at this I don't know whats on on... bro... *clicks the butter dispenser* bro... I don't know, it just... it looks disgusting."
Uhhh, yeah... I don't know what to tell ya. Im sorry man.
*co-worker comes over* "Th-thats the butter..."
"Brooo... *looks a bit sad and upset* I've been putting butter on my whole hot dog. Bro you think you can get me another hot dog? I'm sorry, im just messing up."
I'm sorry man, that was the last hot dog :c
"There's no more hot dogs???"
Yeah man that was the last one.
"Bro, im just messing up..."
Uhmmm, do you want a pretzel or something?
"Bro that would help me out soo much, I just needs carbs bro, yeah."
I proceed to get all the food situated and offer him a pretzel. Everything seemed to be alright after that. I got him his pretzel and had to figure out how I was going to log our refund exchange. Poor guy. I think back on it realizing he might have been drunk after a workout or something. The part that made it memorable was the fact he buttered his hot dog xD - He just wanted a good time.
As for anything else, I got enough math credits that I needed, and I'll be taking intro to theater arts along with English 101 this Fall. Yayy!
I'm still trying to grow. I did get depressed a few days ago because I was feeling lonely at work. I think I'm over it. My sister has moved in with me and has passed her expected date to move out (3 weeks). So I don't know what's going on with that. It doesn't sound promising. My mornings are interrupted with the sounds of baby cries and dog barks after a late night of work. Sucks.
Anyways, that's all I have for right now. I'm skipping any other depressing detail to keep it an O.K. post.
