oh, an update is so very very overdue!
i work too much. since i changed to working day shift, i'm making noticeably more than i was before. i'm only working a few hours of overtime in a week and i'm still pretty even with what i thought i'd be making.
i still need to furnish my apartment. i've been so focused on making things as homey for Alex and keeping bills paid that i have all but given up the hunt for a bed and a couch. the search resumes - i'm planning to completely trick the place out for/before my birthday. on the agenda at the moment is definitely space heaters. one would think that living on the third floor, it wouldn't be so much an issue. the building has forced air heat, the radiators heat up whenever the fuck they want to (often very very LOUDLY), and it doesn't feel like any of the windows (most of which are directly above the radiators) are insulated. i have one heater from Amazon that i just tend to move from room to room as needed, but i need a big one that i can put in the living room and heat most of the apartment.
also new?
this guy. he's not technically new, but the kissing kinda is. his name is Bradley, he is my polar opposite, and he goes out of his way to make time to see me. we've worked together for the last year-plus and drunkenly started dating around Halloween. not gonna lie - i think i love him. and it scares the hell out of me.
a couple of new-ish random Reni photos for those who can't/don't see them on Facebook or Instagram. then i'm going back to being asleep because although i'm not hungover, i definitely had too much sangria last night...
election day face! took my kidlet with me to go vote - he occasionally seems interested in the process...
Boyfriend who will not let me zhuszh his hair. yet.
from a school meeting/conference that Alex and i went to recently - he's in the group on the left.
i was accused of looking sinister at work that day. really? black glitter is sinister? because i look kinda like i could kill someone all the time.

but unfortunately not much will help until this feeling goes away.
