I haven't posted much for a little while. Mainly because I don't want to be perceived as someone who bitches and rants all the time. Which is what i would be doing for the most part.
The roommate is gone. Sort of.
He never left his key. He just vanished when I was at work and shows up while I am at work and trashes the place. So far I've found the room that was his in progressively worse shape every day (he left all the garbage (estimated 5 trash bags full) all over the floor, couch, and furniture). Each time I come home from work, more is destroyed. As if he is throwing a tantrum. He's broken the bathtub today while I was at work. It was also filled with water and some of my belongings were in it. Nothing important. Just enough to make a point.
The cats are freaked out bad.
I tried to get off work tomorrow. I'd hide my car on another street and a cop friend of mine and I would catch him in the act. His driver's license still has his old adress from before he moved in, so since he's been asked to leave here and have all of his stuff out last week, he is breaking and entering. However, work couldn't replace me. So I can't use that trick.
I was supposed to have the key back. Plus there's been damage to the house. Plus he still owes around $900.
He's being slick about it though. I am driving past the place on my routes during the day and he is not here. So he is moving fast. Running in, throwing shit around, grabbing a few more of his things and running back out before I come through again.
He also covered the cat litter box with a pizza box so the cats would have to go on the floor until I got home. How shitty is that? No pun intended.
I'm not going to do anything to him beyond what I can do legally. He's not worth jail. So I'll wait and talk to the highest ranking friend I have with the local police on Monday. See what happens.

damn, that is one psycho guy. i really hope he gets caught in the act and all this mess gets taken care of, 'cause that's just really uncool of him. he needs to grow up (and get in serious trouble, now).

That royally sucks. I sure hope he gets his just deserts... I can't believe the gall of some people. Not to mention immaturity.
