One of the perils of writing.
...Is finding out that something which you've just spent weeks (or sometimes months) working on, is almost exactly like something else. In this case a TV series. One which I hadn't seen until the DVD's arrived from Netflix today. Even a lot of the scenes were the same. The sets had areas which were amazingly similar to what I'd written. Little of the dialogue was the same, but certain actions were exact duplicates.
Should I throw it all away? Or, change it?
I suppose that I like it enough for a rewrite. I felt that it was my second best work to date. So far. We shall see.
Oh and before I forget to mention this. I don't recommend the orangish-reddish dip. Save yourself. Run away.
The tortillas are fine though.

don't throw it all away, that'd be a waste. if you feel you must, then sure, change some of it, but definitely don't toss it.
